In various locations, Phoenix House provides substance abuse,
mental health, and/or support services which have been specifically designed to
address the unique experiences and challenges of the military community.
The
services Phoenix House offers for active duty personnel and veterans are
gender-specific and trauma-informed. They include assessments, screening and
brief interventions, detoxification and stabilization, outpatient and
residential treatment, and sober living and recovery support. Phoenix
House staff members are trained in the latest evidence-based practices for
addressing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anger management, and other issues
that prevent our service men and women from successfully readjusting to
civilian life.
Phoenix
House also provides additional services at some locations, including on-site
medical and dental care, family therapy, vocational and educational counseling,
and assistance accessing entitlements. Please see our location pages
(below) for a complete description of services available for the military
community in your area.
